Learning Visual C# 2008 Programming
3 day course
In this course, you'll learn to use Visual Studio 2008 to explore the Visual C# 2008 language. The course starts with a quick overview of the .NET platform, examining assemblies, Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), the Common Language Runtime (CLR), Visual Studio profiles, XML comments, IntelliSense, and debugging. You'll learn all the language features that you must master in order to create full-featured Web or Windows applications in the .NET platform. You'll learn about data types, variables, operators, flow control structures and object-oriented techniques. You'll work through several exercises utilizing the power of the .NET Framework, and dig into creating and consuming your own classes and objects. You will work with data structures, such as arrays and collection classes, as well as generics, exception handling and working with delegates and events. Upon course completion, you will understand the concepts and develop the skills you need to start creating the applications you need.
